Tom Gildred, FMT Consultants founder and Chairman of the Board, is a multi-generation San Diegan, visionary entrepreneur, and generous philanthropist. Selected as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, he has gained recognition both nationally and locally for founding and growing two primary ventures: FMT Consultants; and Emerald Textiles which sold in July of 2018.
Tom now serves the regional and national community as a speaker and consultant advising businesses on successful growth, acquisition, and exit strategies. He is passionate about making a difference and supports businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout our region, serving on the Board of Directors of Sharp HealthCare and the San Diego Museum of Art as well as San Diego State University, his alma mater. Tom is also a board member of The Gildred Companies, a commercial real estate firm founded by his grandfather in 1927.
In his role at FMT Consultants, Eric Casazza sets the strategic direction for the company and helps guide the team to continually develop and grow, and build long term relationships with clients.
Eric has over 25 years of experience in enterprise transformation, information technology, program management and professional services. After graduating with a B.S. in Finance from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, Eric started his consulting career with Andersen Consulting and Deloitte Consulting where he managed large software projects. He then went on to a long tenure with AMN Healthcare, where he held several leadership positions including Sr. Director of Business Systems, and Vice President of Program Management and Integration. Eric is passionate about helping customers and team members solve their business challenges and achieve their growth strategies.
He serves on the boards of Father Joe’s Villages as Chairman, American Surgical Professionals as Director, and International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners, San Diego as Treasurer.
Paul has attained a plethora of knowledge over his 20 plus years of experience in developing business solutions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from California State University and immediately began working with companies to optimize their procurement, distribution and service-related operations.
Paul’s knowledge and leadership skills enable him to lead FMT’s team of consulting experts in providing world class, multi-platform solutions specializing in ERP, CRM, Integration, Collaboration and Infrastructure Services.
Sales and Marketing
Darren heads the business strategy for FMT Consultants along with customer, partner and market engagement efforts.
With more than 30 years of experience in B2B technology sales, marketing, research and product management, Darren has worked for a variety of leading technology companies including Waggener Edstrom, Lucent, Avaya, Triniti and ESET. Over the years, Darren has built numerous high-performing teams and developed strategic partnerships with Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft.
Today, he leads FMT sales and marketing to connect FMT Consultants and our world-class partners with the very best clients anywhere.
As FMT's Controller, Charles Figueroa oversees all accounting operations, reporting, cashflow, tax, and internal software systems. Charles has a B.S in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego and has collected over 10 years of broad corporate finance experience. Prior to FMT, he supported Road Runner Sports as they underwent an increase of 60% in retail locations across the nation in just two years. Since then, his philosophy for success has evolved around scalability and optimization.
During his tenure at FMT, Charles has been an integral part of multiple software implementations and upgrades to help optimize internal processes.
