New CRM Features in Dynamics 365 July 2017 9.0 Update
With the new Dynamics 365 July 2017 9.0 Update, Microsoft has rolled out several exciting new features and enhancement for CRM. In this article, we will review 3 of these features which can improve you Dynamics CRM: Unified Client Interface, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and the Multiselect Option Set.
1. Dynamics 365 Unified Client Interface
With the new Unified Client interface, users will be able to have a single experience across all different UI’s like Web, Mobile, Outlook & Tablet! This UCI will be rolled out first to the Business Edition & later on for the enterprise Edition! The idea behind this is that the era of web vs. mobile is over and now the UI will adapt to the screen in use. You will also have the same customization options in each. Content will be presented in a way that will reflow into different states of the control as the space available to it changes. As the form dimensions changes, the control adapts & the grids will reflow into card views!
2. Dynamics 365 + LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Now you can have LinkedIn integrated into your Dashboards, Switching between browsers is over!
The new solution is divided into 2 parts: a member profile & a company profile. A LinkedIn member profile shows you information about your leads, all their recent activities. Also with “Team Link” feature, you will find the ideal method to be introduced to them as well as proposing a list of related leads. The LinkedIn company profile shows information on recommended leads, connections and latest news.
Now that we have the lead information, why not track them as candidates to your Company!
That is why Microsoft is introducing Dynamics 365 for Talent.
Talent will allow Dynamics 365 users, the ability to search for new talent directly from LinkedIn. They will then manage the talent starting with your company’s recruitment process & throughout their onboarding & employment period with the company.
The Dynamics 365 July 2017 9.0 Update Talent feature will not only positively impact HR professionals’ daily work but also set up employees for success!
3. Multiselect Option Set
I know many of you were waiting for this functionality... I have!
Moreover, the best part is - so simple to implement. Just create an option set as you always did & set it as multi-select or you can even change the type of an existing one! Taking into consideration, that advanced find has new additions specifically designed for the multiselect option!
