My Top 9 Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Features
The following is a list comprised of my top 9 (in no particular order) favorite new features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013. Throughout all my favorites, you will see that the individual user experience and choices among other benefits are pervasive. 1. Navigation A giant and very apparent difference between Dynamics CRM 2011 and CRM 2013 is navigation. The left navigation and ribbon menu are gone! In CRM 2013, without left navigation and no ribbon menu, all you have to do is click on any drop down to access the page you wish. With no ribbon, you’ll only see the commands related to the things you’re working on instead of a ribbon displaying everything - it’s all stripped down to just the few relevant commands.. Creating Google Map Custom Portlets in NetSuite – a How-to Guide
I am sure everybody appreciates NetSuite’s Dashboards and its flexibility in relation to custom reports and other business-related key performance indicators (KPIs). However, sometimes out-of-the-box functionality and numerous standard and custom KPIs in NetSuite are not enough. Frequently, there is a need to source external company information and feed it directly into NetSuite’s Dashboard, or perhaps create custom functionality that NetSuite does not offer out-of-the-box. In order to bridge this gap, NetSuite gives us ‘Custom Portlets’ which are custom SuiteScript scripts that can be deployed directly on NetSuite’s Dashboard. There are 4 different types of custom portlet scripts: List: A list of user-defined column headers and rows. Issue with Dynamics GP Web Client - Unable to Log into the GP Web Client with Error Code: “There is no such object on the server”
I recently encountered an issue where Dynamics GP users no longer were able to log into the GP Web Client with their domain credentials. Before the issue was reported (by multiple users), the users were able to log in without problems. When attempting to log in to the GP Web Client with domain credentials at the initial login, an error was displayed stating “Unexpected Error” with the following notes – “An unexpected error has occurred. Press the Sign-in button to reconnect to the application.” When clicking the “Sign In” button the system will load the login screen. By browsing to the Event Viewer and reviewing the logs for Dynamics GP I noted the following message: d2ac643a-e378-45a3-bc89-b508c8de5d66:An unexpected error has occurred.
