Feature update on Group Conversations in Outlook
As a collaborative tool, Office 365 has a feature called Office 365 Groups to collect resources to share with group members. Office 365 Groups allows the option to consolidate conversations, calendar items, files, and tasks. The feature integrates with existing Microsoft products like Outlook, Yammer, Teams, SharePoint, and Planner. When a user is part of a group, all emails and meeting invites are sent directly to the user’s inbox and stored in the group folder. Conversations in Office 365 Groups in Outlook happen in the shared inbox for the group. So I think it's safe to say, we've all encountered our fair share of complications when doing so. Issue with Dynamics GP Web Client - Unable to Log into the GP Web Client with Error Code: “There is no such object on the server”
I recently encountered an issue where Dynamics GP users no longer were able to log into the GP Web Client with their domain credentials. Before the issue was reported (by multiple users), the users were able to log in without problems. When attempting to log in to the GP Web Client with domain credentials at the initial login, an error was displayed stating “Unexpected Error” with the following notes – “An unexpected error has occurred. Press the Sign-in button to reconnect to the application.”   When clicking the “Sign In” button the system will load the login screen. By browsing to the Event Viewer and reviewing the logs for Dynamics GP I noted the following message: d2ac643a-e378-45a3-bc89-b508c8de5d66:An unexpected error has occurred. 7 Steps to Manually Download and Install CRM Update Rollup 13 - Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Install on Windows Server 2012
Recently, I experienced an issue when trying to install Dynamics CRM 2011 on Windows Server 2012. The installation made it past the “Download and Install Required Components” portion but then stalled without any prompts appearing. According to Task Manager, both Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server setup and Microsoft Dynamics CRM were still running but in idle mode. Through a quick Google search, I came across an article noting that a supported update for the installation, Update Rollup 13, was available. During my initial CRM installation, no rollup updates were detected and downloaded which caused the CRM install to fail.   By manually downloading the Update Rollup 13 file and executing the setup via command prompt (referencing the update file), I was able to successfully install Dynamics CRM 2011 on Windows Server 2012.
