Junior to Mid-Level Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Job Description
The junior to mid-level BI Developer will have one (1) to three (3) years of .Net and/or SQL development experience. As a consultant/developer at FMT Consultants, the BI Developer will utilize best practices and methodologies to plan and design, build, and implement Microsoft solutions. They will be required to build relationships with existing clients as well as assist in closing new business; and will work extensively with internal teams, clients, and vendors throughout the project.

Responsibilities

  • This Developer/Consultant will participate in large, mid-size and small Microsoft BI and development projects.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions.
  • Work with clients and partner with other team members to determine functional requirements and specifications.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom BI solutions.
  • Engage the client as a trusted advisor and quickly gain credibility.
  • Engage with Account Managers and clients during the presales phase to collect necessary information to draft Statements of Work.
  • Investigate business needs and discuss new opportunities with the clients.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years Development experience – C# and/or VB.NET
  • 1+ years SQL Server experience – TSQL, SSRS, SSIS
  • SharePoint knowledge preferred, but not required
  • Consulting experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of DynamicsGP or Microsoft CRM a plus
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical implementation
  • Outstanding client relationship skills

Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) Developer

Job Description
We are looking for a highly effective Dynamics GP Consultant to join our team full-time. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to design, implement and/or upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP and associated solutions for our clients. This consultant will work extensively with internal teams, clients, and vendors throughout the project, providing subject matter expertise and hands-on implementation experience, and will also play a project management role for smaller clients and projects. This consultant must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients about Microsoft enterprise technologies.
  • Gather client requirements and document functional specifications
  • Install, configure, and perform customizations to Dynamics GP
  • Design and create integrations with Dynamics GP
  • Perform system testing and end user client training
  • Design/create reports and financial statements
  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft enterprise technologies
  • Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget
  • Provide client status updates to project manager and clients on a regular basis
  • Receptive to mentoring

Qualifications

  • 2+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics GP in a consulting capacity, with at least 1 year experience with GP 2010.
  • 1+ year experience with .Net development
  • Experience with Dexterity preferred
  • Experience with eConnect
  • Experience with core financials, project accounting, POP, SOP, and manufacturing
  • Experience with Business Portal and requisition management
  • Experience with ISVs including Prophix and ReQlogic preferred
  • Ability to define, create and complete project deliverables with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations
  • Exhibits professionalism at all times
  • Microsoft Sure Step methodology certification and experience preferred
  • Dynamics GP certification preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferred
  • MSFT certifications in GP 2010.

Travel

Job Description
The Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultant will work within the Dynamics CRM development/consulting practice. The Senior Consultant will work under the guidance/leadership of the Practice Manager. The primary responsibilities of this Senior Consultant are to plan, analyze, architect, test, build and implement Microsoft CRM solutions as well as train clients in using CRM. This role is a balanced role with an emphasis on functional capability and business process expertise.

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultant will have 2+ years experience in IT/Management Consulting Services and CRM projects. The Senior CRM Consultant is passionate about Dynamics CRM, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, multi-tasking capabilities as well as a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.  The Senior CRM Consultant will have strong consulting experience in analysis, design and architecture, and scoping CRM solutions with a proven track record of enterprise level design and deployment of Microsoft CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in large, mid-size and small Microsoft Dynamics CRM related projects.
  • Work with clients and other team members to create layout and design CRM Solutions based on client requirements.
